My kids LOVE Peppa Pig World! So I thought I would share some of my tips and tricks that I have learnt during my visits to help you plan your day out and make the most of those precious few hours in the land of Peppa Pig! Read on to find out more…

Where is Peppa Pig World?

Peppa Pig World is located in a bigger amusement park known as Paultons Park in New Forest National Park, Hampshire. It is near the village of Ower. Paultons Park has over 70 rides suitable for all different ages, as well as places to eat and on-site accommodation. It is the UK’s number 1 family theme park, set across 140 acres of stunning parkland. Paultons is also the only place where you’ll find Peppa Pig World: an area themed around popular children’s TV character Peppa Pig.

Paultons Park is just off exit 2 of the M27. Easy to reach by car, the theme park has free parking. You can access Paultons Park by coach (from London), and the X7 Salisbury-Southampton bus service stops a 10 minute walk from the park.

What is Peppa Pig World?

There are 9 exciting Peppa-themed rides in the Peppa Pig World area of Paultons Park, as well as the chance to meet Peppa and George. Your kids will be in awe as they walk around this well-themed area, full of pastel colours and buildings that look as though they have jumped out of your TV screen. It is the perfect opportunity to bring your children’s dreams to life, and a great way to spend the day if you’re planning a UK staycation in beautiful Hampshire.

What rides are there at Peppa Pig World?

All of the rides in the Peppa Pig World area are suitable for little ones. They are as follows:

Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club

This water ride is described as a ‘gentle spinning boat ride’. Suitable for all ages, each boat can hold 4 people – children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Sail along to Pirate Island, and see Peppa and all her friends on the way.

Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride

This slow ride takes you up high to see the views and the rest of the park inside brightly coloured, pretend hot air balloons which spin slowly as they ascend. There are no heigh restrictions but again children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. This ride has a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children per balloon.

George’s Dinosaur Adventure

Take your child onto a big green dinosaur that follows a track – an easygoing ride that is fun for little ones. Ride photography is available, and children must be 0.85m+ to ride. Children under 1.1m must ride in the front seat accompanied by an adult; children taller than 1.1m must ride alone on he rear seat.

Grandpa Pig’s Little Train

This is another ride with no heigh restrictions – an ambling train journey driven by Grandpa Pig himself through some lovely greenery. This one is bound to make every little one smile! Children under 4 must be accompanied by an adult; there is a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children per carriage.

Daddy Pig’s Car Ride

Another track ride, hop in a brightly coloured car and “drive” around an area that looks just like Peppa Pig’s home town – because you can’t actually control the car, it’s a great chance to let the kids think they’re doing some driving, which they love! Children under 4 must be accompanied by an adult, and there is a maximum of 4 people per car.

The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride

Look at Peppa Pig World from a new angle as you enjoy a slow and gentle monorail journey from the Queen’s beautiful castle all around the park itself. There are no height restrictions on this ride, but children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Each carriage holds up to 4 adults and 2 children.

Windy Castle Ride

This ride involves sitting in clouds that turns as they ascend a small tower – it’s one of the most exhilarating children’s rides at Peppa Pig World, so it is perfect for your slightly bigger kids. That being said there are no heigh restrictions, but children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult on this ride. There is a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children per gondola at any one time.

Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter Flight

This is a ferris wheel style ride, with bright little carriages that really wouldn’t look out of place on the TV in an episode of Peppa Pig – the theming here is fantastic! There is no height restriction for this ride, but kids under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. There is a maximum of 4 people to a helicopter at any one time.

Grandpa Pig’s Boat Trip

Another water ride, this lovely boat trip is a great way to wind down your day at Peppa Pig World. There is no heigh restriction for this ride, but children under 4 must be accompanied by an adult. There is room for 4 people per boat – 2 adults and 2 children. This is a fun and chilled out ride, with great sensory elements too.

Other things to do

As well as rides, there are other things to do in Peppa Pig World. You (and your children, of course) can see/meet Peppa and George as they amble around the park – take photographs and say hello! Currently, due to social distancing guidelines in line with Covid-19 precautions, Peppa and George appear daily on the Queen’s Flying Coach Ride. You can wave from below and take some snaps!

There is an indoor play area with slides, tubes and climbing frames as well as a picnic area, and you’ll find an outdoor play area too. This has swings, slides and more. One of the most fun parts of Peppa Pig World is the Muddy Puddles area – mud drawn on the ground, rather than real mud, with water features above them to give the illusion of jumping in muddy puddles just like Peppa does! This area is suitable for children aged 0-6, and appropriate clothing should be worn.

How much are Peppa Pig World Tickets?

Children under 1 metre tall go free at Peppa Pig World. Other than that, tickets are £35.75 per person (or £33.25 for over 60s) with deals available for groups of 3, 4 or 5. These tickets are for Paultons Park as a whole, and are valid for a single day’s entry on the selected date.

You can book a coach package from London to visit Peppa Pig World. With UK-based Evans Evans Tours, jump on the Peppa Pig World Express and enjoy a fun day out. You’ll travel on a luxury coach complete with comfortable on-board facilities and amenities. The tour package includes your entry to Paultons Park, as well as transport between there and London. There is free WiFi and USB charging on the coach, and activity packs for the children in your party too. This is a great way to visit Peppa Pig World, especially if you are staying in London as a tourist already.

You can also choose to add on the Peppa Pig World Early Pass. This is an opportunity to meet Peppa herself, and brother George, before the park opens. Social distancing measures are being adhered to with these visits! You’ll also be able to enjoy half an hour of early ride access from 9.30 am, before the park officially opens at 10. Prices are as follows:

  • Adults: £15.25
  • Baby aged under 6 months: Free
  • Child aged 6-12 months: £9.75
  • Children aged 13-35 months: £19.75

This is a great way to enjoy a UK staycation during the school holidays, and get amazing value for money. Your ticket includes the rest of Paultons Park. Tickets can be mobile or printed off, whichever works best for you.
